The sound system for events up to 200 people. Two 18″ subwoofers and two 12″ top speakers provide magnificent sound. Renting this sound system is a good idea if you want to use it mainly for a wedding, birthday party, party or other event of this group size. You can easily connect a DJ mixer or DJ set to this sound system.<\/p>\n

What does the speaker set consist of?<\/h3>\n

The audio set consists of two LD Systems Stinger 12A G3<\/a> top speakers and two LD Systems 18A G3<\/a> subwoofers, as well as two speaker poles and four audio multi-cables. If you want to rent a sound system with even more powerful top sound, you can opt for the sound system for up to 225 people<\/a>.<\/p>\n

What can I connect this sound system to?<\/h3>\n

Renting a sound system and curious about what you can connect to it? Given that the amplifiers of these speakers are built-in, you can quickly and easily set up this sound system. You can run cables directly from the DJ equipment or audio mixer to the speakers. Renting a sound system becomes super easy, plug & play, and thus time and space-saving.<\/p>\n

How do I set up this sound set and how do I connect it?<\/h3>\n

Place the LD Systems<\/a> Stinger 18A G3 subwoofers on their flat side so that the logo is readable from the front. Screw the speaker poles with the threaded bolt into the mounting point on top of the subwoofers. Adjust the height of the speaker poles with the knob on the side of the pole. We recommend adjusting the top speakers to ear level. Place the LD Systems Stinger 12A G3 speakers on the speaker poles and tighten the anti-rotation mechanism. Unroll the two provided multi-cables with the red cable tie. The end with the power plugs goes towards the DJ set or mixer. The end with the black plug (Powercon True1) goes towards the speakers.<\/p>\n

The black plug (Powercon True1) can only go into one place on the subwoofer. When the plug is in the speaker, carefully turn it to the right until you hear a click. Do this for both subwoofers. The other connector in the multi-cable (XLR male) goes into the left position where it says ‘input’ on the subwoofers. Do this for both subwoofers as well. On the other side of the multi-cable, you’ll find the power plug. Connect this to the power supply. At this same end, you also have the (XLR female) plugs. These go into the sound source (DJ set or sound mixer). Then unroll the two multi-cables with the blue or yellow label. With this cable, you go to the subwoofers.<\/p>\n

The large Powercon True1 loop-through plug goes into the subwoofers (don’t forget to turn it to the right). The XLR female on this side of the cable also goes into the subwoofer where it says ‘thru’. The other end of the loop-through cables goes towards the top speakers placed above the subwoofers. Connect these the same way as in steps 5 and 6. Turn on all equipment, including the DJ set or sound mixer, the speakers and the subwoofers. Set the desired volume on the back of the speakers and subwoofers and you’re ready to start.<\/p>\n
