What can I use this STINGER\u00ae 15A G3 speaker for?<\/h3>\n

Do you need just one powerful speaker or monitor? Then this speaker is certainly sufficient. The 15″ + 1″ combination provides 133 dB max. SPL and 500 watts RMS sound output. The built-in amplifier makes the box plug play and very versatile in use. <\/p>\n

Do you also have a speaker set that includes this speaker?<\/h3>\n

What accessories do you have for this STINGER\u00ae 15A G3 speaker?<\/h3>\n

The speaker comes with a power cable when rented. If you want to connect it to something and don’t have your own cabling, rent an XLR signal cable as well. We always recommend placing the speaker at ear level, which can be done using a speaker stand<\/a>. We offer these as both tripod and sleek single pole stands. Simply add these to your rental order through the extras. <\/p>\n

Which preset should I select on the STINGER\u00ae 15A G3 speaker?<\/h3>\n

The LD Systems<\/a> Stinger 15A G3 has multiple easy-to-use presets. You can use ‘full range’ if you’re using the speaker on its own. ‘Satellite’ if you’re using the speaker in combination with subwoofers, ‘monitor’ if it’s serving as an audio monitor, and ‘flat’ if you’re going to use the speaker only for speech applications. <\/p>\n

Should I use line or mic as the setting on the speaker?<\/h3>\n

If you’re connecting the speaker to an audio mixer, DJ mixer, or other line input, you can set the speaker to ‘line’. If you’re plugging a microphone (not included) directly into the speaker, select ‘mic’. We always recommend using an audio mixer or DJ mixer. <\/p>\n

How do I use this speaker and how do I connect it?<\/h3>\n

1. Position the LD Systems Stinger 15A G3 top speaker as you want to use it. Either as a top speaker or as a full-range speaker. Place it on a speaker stand or pole (not included, see extras). <\/p>\n

2. Connect the powerCON TRUE1 cable to the power connection of the speaker. Turn 90 degrees until you hear a ‘click’. Connect the other end to the power network. <\/p>\n

3. If you’re going to connect a microphone directly to the speaker (not included), connect the audio cable (not included) to the connection under the left knob. Select ‘mic’ for input. <\/p>\n

4. If you’re going to use a DJ mixer, audio mixer, or other line source, connect the audio cable (not included) to the connection under the left knob. Select ‘line’ for input. <\/p>\n

5. Connect the other end of your audio cable (not included) to your sound source.<\/p>\n

6. Turn on the speaker and sound source and adjust the volume.<\/p>\n
