This speaker combination is ideal for indoor events with around 100 people. You can use these speakers for any type of party or event. The sound system is easy to connect to a DJ set or sound mixer. Renting this sound set is also interesting because the amplifiers are built into the speakers. This makes the whole setup plug play.

What does the speaker set consist of?

The set consists of two LD Systems Stinger 8A G3 top speakers and one LD Systems 18A G3 subwoofer, two speaker stands, and three multi-cables.

What can I connect this sound system to?

The speakers in this sound set are active. This means that the amplifiers are built-in. That’s convenient because it makes the whole system compact during transport and easy to connect to a sound source. By sound source, we mean a DJ set or mixer. Do you want to connect a tablet, phone, or laptop to the sound system? Then you’ll need a mixer and adapter cable. You can add these items to your rental request in the extras section of this set.

How easy is it to rent a sound system?

We want to make renting a sound system in Amsterdam or Breda as easy as possible. That’s why we have rental locations there. But of course, you can also use our transport service. This makes renting a sound system in Eindhoven, Alkmaar, or Amersfoort just as simple. Simply add transport to your rental order.

How do I set up this sound set and how do I connect it?

Place the LD Systems Stinger 18A G3 subwoofer on its flat side so that the logo is readable from the front. Unfold the speaker stands and adjust them to the desired height. We recommend placing the top speakers at ear level. Place the LD Systems Stinger 8A G3 speakers on the stand. Unroll the two provided multi-cables with the red cable tie. The end with the power plugs goes towards the DJ set or mixer. The end with the black plug (Powercon True1) goes towards the speakers. The black plug (Powercon True1) can only go into the speaker in one way. When the plug is in the speaker, carefully turn it to the right until you hear a click.

Do this with the unrolled cable for one of the top speakers and for the subwoofer. The other connector in the multi-cable (XLR male) goes into the left position where it says ‘input’ on the top speaker and subwoofer. Do this for both the subwoofer and one of the top speakers. At the other end of the multi-cable, you’ll find the power plug. Connect this to the power supply. At this same end, you also have the (XLR female) plugs. These go into the sound source (DJ set or sound mixer). Then unroll the multi-cable with the blue or yellow label. Use this cable to go to the subwoofer.

The large Powercon True1 loop-through plug goes into the subwoofer (don’t forget to turn it to the right). The XLR female on this side of the cable also goes into the subwoofer where it says ‘thru’. The other end of the loop-through cable goes towards the only top speaker that hasn’t been connected yet. Connect this the same way as in steps 5 and 6. Turn on all equipment, including the DJ set or sound mixer, the speakers, and the subwoofer. Set the desired volume on the back of the speakers and subwoofers, and you’re ready to start.
