Presentations, conferences, or seminars are usually full of cues. During such an event, the director is in frequent contact with all show crew. A point of attention for the sound technician due to a change of speakers. A cue for the video technician because of starting a specific video. These are all situations where the director uses an intercom system.

Why is a GreenGo intercom system a good choice?

Unlike an analog intercom system, this GreenGo system works on a digital protocol. It no longer requires a base station. The foundation of a GreenGo system is essentially in the air. All components possess the full configuration but only use small parts of it. Based on this technology, the entire intercom can never fail completely.

What is the advantage of a digital intercom?

The digital GreenGo intercom offers as many as 32 channels. This is much more than the two lines that an analog intercom offers. Additionally, the channels on this digital intercom are also flexibly configurable. For example, a group can be assigned per channel. You can then add specific technicians to these groups. In the audio group, you can add the front of house technician, monitor technician, and transmitter technician, for example. This way, all sound-related technicians are in contact with each other, but the director can also give audio cues more specifically to the right technicians.

How do I contact other people?

On the wireless beltpack, there are several buttons positioned, with the most important ones around a clear color display. This display can show information about channels, groups, and also settings can be made. The 4 buttons around the display give you direct access to the most important groups or people during a conference. These can, of course, be fully customized as desired.

What is the purpose of the antenna in this intercom set?

Since the beltpacks function completely wirelessly, this equipment uses antennas for sending and receiving messages. An antenna can connect with a maximum of 4 wireless beltpacks. This set includes a total of 6 beltpacks, and therefore 2 antennas are included. So keep in mind that you cannot connect all beltpacks to the same antenna. In a conference with multiple rooms, the range of the wireless beltpacks may be insufficient. Therefore, a beltpack can be connected to a maximum of 4 antennas. This way, you can provide a very large area with full coverage. More antennas are likely needed for this configuration, ask about the possibilities.

What if the battery of my beltpack is empty?

No worries. Of course, you don’t want to end up with an empty battery halfway through the show. That’s why 2 batteries are supplied as standard with each beltpack. This way, you can always immediately switch batteries, allowing you to continue with the show right away. The empty battery can be charged in the supplied battery charger. This battery will, of course, be recharged by the time the battery in the beltpack starts to run low.
