What do I need to use this AKG C519M microphone?

Besides the instrument you attach it to, you need a signal cable and a sound system with a mixer that has phantom power.

What is phantom power and why is it important to have it?

Phantom power is power that is sent through the sound mixer to the AKG C519M microphone. The microphone needs this to amplify sufficiently. How do I connect this microphone?

Use a microphone cable or XLR cable. Click this into the bottom of the microphone and the other end into the microphone input of an audio mixer. Turn on the phantom power on the audio mixer. Please note that the microphone cable is not included in the rental. You can easily add this via the extras at the top of this page.
