What functions are available on this light controller?

The Wolfmix W1 MKII DMX Controller is an extensive DMX controller. This controller gives you access to 4 DMX universes. This provides you with enough channels for the most advanced lighting such as moving heads. Additionally, you have a large toolbox with FX modules and can synchronize the lights with the music. All built into one controller.

Do I need a PC to operate this light controller?

The advantage of the light controller is that it can be used stand-alone. The controller has an extensive library of fixtures. All effects are easy to set up on the device itself. The various effects can be controlled with the 37 colored silicone buttons and a 4.3″ touchscreen. Furthermore, you’ll find 4 push/rotary knobs to fine-tune the effects. Everything within reach.

What effects are possible?

The controller has 3 types of effects. With Color FX, you can mix up to 16 colors into a rainbow, points, or other festive effects. The Move FX apply to Moving heads. With these effects, you can easily apply patterns to the moving lights. With Move FX, you have control over the pan and tilt of the moving heads. With the Beam FX, you have the ability to apply various dimming effects to the lighting.

Can I save a show?

When you want to create a show, it’s easy to do so by saving different presets. You can save these presets on the 36 illuminated push buttons. These can then be recalled when you need them. If you’ve created a great show, it’s also possible to save it on a USB. On the back of the Wolfmix controller, you’ll find a USB-A output for connecting a USB stick where you can save a copy of the settings.
