This Showtec Single Dimmer is convenient when you’re using a simple spotlight or the Magic FX Swirl Fan. With this dimmer, you can dim the lights or adjust the intensity of the Swirl Fan.
How do I use the single dimmer?
The Showtec Single MKII Dimmer 10A is easy to use. You connect the desired device to this dimmer. The dimmer is suitable for controlling equipment with a maximum of 2300 Watts. Do you want to use devices that use more Watts? Then unfortunately, this dimmer is not suitable. Also, this dimmer is not suitable for use with non-dimmable lamps. Furthermore, the dimmer has one channel.
Can I also use the Showtec Single MKII Dimmer 10A with a lighting console?
It is possible to connect the single dimmer to a lighting console using a DMX cable. The dimmer is equipped with a 3-pin DMX input and output. This allows you to remotely control what this dimmer should do using a lighting console. It is also possible to set the dimmer to the ‘Switch’ mode. This ensures that other lamps can also be used with this dimmer. This allows you to switch the lamps on or off. Dimming is not possible in this mode.
