How do I use the web presenter?

You can rent this web presenter and connect it directly to a wired network via the ethernet connection on the back. This allows the Web Presenter to connect to the internet. Using a laptop connected via USB or through the same network to the streaming encoder, you can set essential things like stream output, platform, server, and key for the RTMP server. To go ‘live’, a simple press of the ‘on air’ button is sufficient to let your audience enjoy the broadcast.

There are also platforms that don’t offer the use of RTMP servers. Think, for example, of using Microsoft Teams or Zoom. In that case, you can rent the web presenter and use it in a different way. You still supply the video signal via the SDI input on the back of the device. By then connecting the Web Presenter to a computer via USB cable, you make it available as a ‘webcam’. In Microsoft Teams or Zoom, you can then select this as the camera, after which you can use virtually any video source as a source for your online event.
