How do I use the fog machine?

The Look Unique 2.1 is very easy to use. You can operate this device in different ways. For example, it’s possible to control the fog machine analogously with the included 0-10 volt controller. You connect this to the 3-pin DMX input using the supplied 3-pin XLR cable. On the controller, you’ll find a button. This turns on the controller. When you then slide the slider up, you can adjust the intensity of the fog machine.

Additionally, it’s possible to control the fog machine via DMX. This allows you to integrate the fog machine into your show using a lighting console. You can easily connect the Look Unique 2.1 via the 5-pin DMX connection and program it into your show. The fog machine needs heat to produce smoke. It takes about 60 seconds to warm up the hazer before it can be used. You’ll know the Look Unique 2.1 is ready for use when the green light next to ‘Ready’ on the smoke machine lights up.

Is the fluid included with the Look Unique 2.1?

The fog machine comes with a filled 2-liter tank. This provides enough fluid to create a continuous mist for up to 50 hours without needing to refill. Do you have a longer production and need more fluid? Then easily order it additionally. The fluid for this Look Unique 2.1 is water-based, making it harmless. However, whether smoke detectors will be triggered depends on the type of smoke detector. Optical smoke detectors will be triggered by any smoke machine. Thermal smoke detectors will not be triggered when using this hazer.
