What does this reveal drop curtain set consist of?

The Kabuki Carre Set is a standalone square system based on truss. This allows you to place it anywhere and hide an object all around until the moment of reveal. The square is standard 6 meters wide and 6 meters deep. Additionally, this set has a height of 3 meters. The lengths consist of separate truss parts of 2 meters, 1 meter, and 50 centimeters. This makes the set easy to transport in a box truck.

In addition, you’ll also find the necessary truss corners and base plates to place the legs. To make the set easy to assemble, it comes with four lifts to raise the square. Furthermore, the set is of course equipped with the Magic FX Power Drop system to drop the curtain. The set also includes the curtain to hide the object to be revealed. You’ll also find an Effectivator to drop the curtain at the right moment.

How do I set up the reveal drop curtain square set?

First, it’s useful to set up the lifts from the set so you can use them later. Then, connect the separate truss parts for the beams and corners with the supplied pins using the included toolbox. Next, place the square on the four lifts. This gives you a comfortable working height of 1.26 meters. This allows you to easily mount the Power Drops of this complete set on the truss beam. Then connect the Power Drop Set and test it before use.

After you’ve tested it and hung the curtain, you can raise it to height using the lifts. Do this with four people to bring the square up horizontally. This prevents it from potentially falling over. You can bring the set to a maximum height of 3 meters and 80 centimeters. When you’ve placed the set at the right height, you can place the two legs, which you place on the base plates, under the beam with the corners and attach them to the corners. You can then lower the lifts and store them elsewhere.

Can I place the drop curtain system anywhere?

The advantage of this system is that this set uses truss. This means you have everything in one set to build the set. The advantage of this is that you can place the drop curtain system anywhere you want. You don’t have to look for a place where you can hang the drop curtain system near the object to be opened or revealed.

How do I connect the Magic FX Power Drop Set?

The Power Drop set comes with all the necessary materials you need to connect it. Use the included hooks to attach the Power Drop to a pipe or truss structure. Then connect the supplied cables. On the Power Drops, you will find a blue and a gray connector. The blue connector provides power to the Power Drop. The gray connector allows you to pass power to the next Power Drop. Between the Power Drops, use the included daisy-chain cables.

At the beginning of the line, you use a powerCON cable with a schuko plug. You then plug the supply cable into an effectivator or the outgoing power strip of the launch pole. You can then test the set by ‘practicing’ your reveal moment without the curtain. This opens the hooks where the curtain will be hanging. This is also handy for hanging your curtain in the Power Drops before the ‘real’ moment.

How do I attach the curtain to the Power Drops?

The Power Drops are all equipped with a hook. You can easily hang a curtain with rings on this. By clicking the hooks closed, the curtain stays in place. Your curtain doesn’t have rings? No problem! The Power Drop Set comes with curtain clamps so you can use any desired curtain with the Power Drop. The set includes 10 Power Drops. When you want to reveal or open something, it’s important that there’s a maximum of 1 meter between the power drops. This distributes the weight evenly over the Power Drops. The Power Drops can each carry a maximum weight of 20kg.

Is the Kabuki Carre Set also available in other sizes?
