These have a display where you can make these settings. For example, a dimmer is built-in. This allows you to use this Fresnel just fine in stand-alone mode. Even without an external dimmer, you can set the lamp to the desired amount of light. In the past, very heavy and thick cables were needed to control conventional spotlights. That’s quite different nowadays.

With this ADJ Encore FR150Z Fresnel, you can control the lamps directly via DMX. This fixture has both 3-pin and 5-pin DMX input and output, allowing you to control the lighting via a lighting console. Even more is possible than with conventional lamps and dimmers. Through the built-in menu, you can adjust the DMX mode settings. For example, it’s possible to set a fine dimmer, strobe, and dim curve in addition to a master dimmer. This makes the LED Fresnel suddenly usable for projects where the conventional variant was insufficient.
