If you want to evenly illuminate a stage, presenter, or other surface, we recommend using a fresnel. For exhibitions and smaller stages, this 50-watt LED spot is perfectly suitable. The ADJ Encore FR50Z is a powerful 50-watt LED theater spot and can be ideally used to evenly illuminate people or surfaces. These spots are often used in multiples above a stage or exhibition stand, but they also excel in lighting a bar during a company party or gala dinner.

We do not recommend hanging this LED fresnel higher than 4 meters. For higher/larger venues, this spot unfortunately falls short in power. If the location or exhibition stand is higher, you can use its big brother. This has an LED light source of no less than 130 watts and is applicable to exhibition stands and stages up to 8 meters high.

How do I control this LED Fresnel?

Unlike a conventional theater spot or fresnel, this FR50Z has an LED light source instead of a halogen lamp. This eliminates the need for a dimmer to control the lamp. Many LED fixtures have a display where you can make many settings. If you want to use this fresnel in stand-alone mode (without active control), you can easily set the desired light output via the display. This lamp has a built-in dimmer.

Do you want to actively control the fresnel? Then the ADJ Encore FR50Z has a 3-pin DMX input and output. This allows you to make settings to the spot remotely. This theater spot has various DMX modes with a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 4 channels. Via DMX, it is possible to change the master dimmer, fine dimmer, and dim curve, for example. Unlike conventional halogen fixtures, this LED theater spot also has a strobe function. This is not possible with a conventional theater spot, which suddenly makes the LED fresnel suitable for other projects.

What are the mounting options for this LED Fresnel theater spot?

For the best result, these theater spots are hung from a truss, grid, or pipe in the ceiling of the venue. Ideally, you illuminate the person or object from here at an angle of 45 degrees. This gives the best result and the least hindrance for, for example, a speaker on stage or a visitor to your exhibition stand. A ‘flatter’ angle causes the spot to shine in the eyes of the speaker or guests.

Are there no possibilities for hanging these spots? Then it is possible to place this 50-watt LED Fresnel on a stand. You can place these anywhere, without depending on hanging options. Our stands consist of a compact square baseplate with a representative upright pole. This way, placing these theater spots in more luxurious locations, such as conference centers and hotels, is also no problem.
