Description
When organizing events where lighting is used, controlling it is of course essential. For larger productions, lighting control is often used. This Avolites Quartz lighting console is a compact all-in-one console.
Why do I need lighting control at an event?
Larger productions often use intelligent lighting. This lighting always requires some form of control to achieve the optimal effect. With a professional lighting console, this intelligent lighting is easy to control. However, training is required for this.
How many universes can be controlled with this lighting control?
With a professional lighting console, you can control multiple DMX universes. One DMX universe consists of 512 DMX channels. When using a lot of lighting in a production, these channels can quickly fill up. For this reason, lighting control that can handle multiple universes is important. This Avolites Quartz can control 16 universes. With a Titan Net Processor (not included), this can be expanded to 64 universes.
Is it possible to connect an additional screen?
The Avolites Quartz lighting control has a DVI-D port. This port is suitable for connecting an additional screen to the lighting console. This provides you with more screen space to view any visualizations in the FOH as well.
How do I control the lights with this lighting console?
Using the 12.1″ touchscreen display, designing a light show is easy. Use it to select the right fixtures and effects you want to apply. Additionally, you have 10 faders with precision feedback for ultimate control.
