How does the Battery Pack work?

Nowadays, it’s no longer necessary to use a generator to produce power in places where it’s not available. Currently, batteries are of such quality that they can deliver almost identical performance in a compact form. Setting up the battery pack is very easy. The Instagrid weighs only 20KG, making it much easier for technicians, gaffers, and event crew to place.

You can connect the equipment using the Schuko output on the front of the battery. You then turn on the battery pack with the switch. The battery pack is also suitable for use when it’s raining. The battery has an IP54 classification, making it safe to use in various weather conditions such as rain, snow, storm, or wind.

How long does the battery last?

As with any battery, the duration of use depends on the usage. The Battery Pack has a capacity of 2.1kWh. This means that the battery can provide 2100 Watts of power for one hour. It’s also possible to deliver more wattage for a shorter period. However, keep in mind that the battery won’t last long in this case. The battery pack is capable of delivering a maximum peak power of 18,000 Watts. This is only for a very short period.

Want to know exactly how long the battery will last? Calculate the total consumption of the devices to be connected. If this is less than 2100 Watts, the battery will last longer than 1 hour. Do you need all the power for a longer period? Then you can charge the battery pack with the supplied power cable. This does require a power supply. To charge the battery to 50% takes only 1.5 hours. In 5 hours, the battery is fully charged.

Who is the battery suitable for?

The wireless battery is versatile. It’s a good replacement for situations where you would normally use a small generator. The advantage of this battery is that it delivers a stabilized voltage. The Battery Pack is often used for connecting audiovisual equipment. Additionally, it’s possible to connect refrigerators, coffee makers, or heating equipment. Ideal for film shoots in remote locations, for example.
