In principle, this CAT5e cable can be used for any connection between mixing console and stage box that requires a CAT5e cable with EtherCON connectors. Within our rental range, this only applies to the Midas M32R and the Stage Box DL32. Due to the type of connection, you cannot use this cable for other purposes. For example, you cannot use it to connect a router or hub.

Do I need to fully unroll the CAT5e UTP Cable 75 meters when using it?

No, unlike power cable reels, it is not necessary to completely unroll the cable for data reels. You can unroll the cable to the length you need and leave the rest coiled on the reel.

For the mixing console side, use the short piece of cable that is tied to the outside of the reel. This side also has an EtherCON connector that can go directly into the mixing console.
