Elastic set with 600 elastics for attaching and tensioning banners or hanging backdrops on, for example, a truss construction or other frame. Spanfix is the name for special elastics used for tensioning a banner in, for example, a truss frame. These spanfix are particularly suitable for this specific use due to their high load-bearing capacity. Even when used outdoors, these elastics will not easily give way.

How do I attach the elastics?

There are various possibilities for attaching the elastics from this elastic set. Depending on the distance from the banner or backdrop to the (truss) frame, there is almost always an ideal way of mounting. For example, by simply pulling the elastic through the ring in the banner and attaching it back to itself around the tube. You can also choose to first pull the elastic through the ring, then through itself, and then attach it back to itself around the truss. Need more tension? Wrap the elastic twice around the truss. You can perform the mounting method entirely at your own discretion. There’s really no right or wrong way.

What colors of elastics do you rent?

This set consists of 600 elastics. At the top of this page, you can choose whether you want these in white or black. The choice is often linked to the color of the banner or curtain that will be hanging from the elastics. If you have a white banner or backdrop, take white elastics. If you have dark-colored banners or backdrops, black is a better choice. This ensures that the attention is not drawn to the elastics but to the object hanging from them.

Is an elastic set a rental item or a purchase item?

At the Rental Supplier, we try to produce events as climate-neutral as possible. That’s why we choose elastics and not tie-wraps for attaching banners and backdrops. This makes this elastic set a rental item. This way, you have no leftover materials after your event. This also applies if you have purchased the banner from us. The banner is a purchase item. However, the elastic set remains a rental item and must therefore be returned after the rental period.
