Description
Floodlight LED Wash with barndoors and adjustable colour temperature. Excellent for illuminating a trade show booth, star walk, exhibition, or buffet. With the advent of LED lighting, numerous new possibilities have become available. This lamp not only has low power consumption but also the ability to vary in colour temperature. This lamp always emits white light, but you can vary between warm white and cool white light. This makes this LED Wash very suitable for use in an exhibition, star walk, buffet, or highlighting a banner.
What is the light source of this Xoop EL151.TW floodlight?
As described, this LED Wash has low power consumption, making it easily deployable for many projects. With a power consumption of only 160 watts, you can ideally use this spot in locations with limited power. With this LED lighting, which works based on SMD LEDs, this spot is quite powerful, but fortunately, it’s also dimmable. This allows you to adjust the brightness of the lighting entirely to your liking. A simple knob on the back of the housing directly changes the intensity of the light beam. This makes this LED Wash ideal for use at events in, for example, a museum for highlighting art, a painting, or an exhibition.
How does the colour temperature work on this Xoop EL151.TW LED wash?
The lighting is provided by 324 small LEDs. Of these, 162 provide warm white lighting. The other 162 provide cool white lighting. However, these different colored LEDs can also work together, creating a whole array of white color shades. This LED Wash can thus scale from a colour temperature of 2800K (warm white) all the way up to 6500K (cool white). On the back of the housing, there’s a rotary knob positioned, with which you can set the colour temperature of the light beam entirely to your liking. No complicated technology, a simple turn of the knob will directly cause a change. Simple and understandable for everyone.
What kind of light beam does this Xoop EL151.TW LED Wash floodlight have?
Together, all LEDs provide a light beam with an opening angle of no less than 120 degrees. This gives this LED Wash – compared to a fresnel – an enormous spread of light. In practice, this ensures that you get fewer shadows and can still evenly illuminate a surface or object with fewer spots. Think, for example, of highlighting a buffet or catering table. Often you needed multiple spots to eliminate shadows or create an evenly lit buffet. This is now a thing of the past. You can adjust the tint of the light yourself.
Illuminating a banner or backdrop has also become much easier with this. Using the wide spread, you can simply and evenly highlight a banner. Are you afraid that the light beam might be too wide? No problem. This LED Wash is equipped with 4 barndoors. Using these flaps, you can frame the light beam. You essentially close a flap and determine how far the light may spread outwards.
