A Harting kit is an essential product for large events. When you need to cover long distances for a large amount of power during an event, you can do this with normal extension cords. However, this requires many cables, time, and therefore money. Instead of the usual extension cords, you can also use Harting. Harting cables can transport large amounts of power through a single cable. This is due to the use of 18 conductors in the cable. These cables have a special 16-pin connector. You don’t usually encounter this in a domestic environment, but it’s very common in the audiovisual world. This kit is ideal if you don’t want to calculate exactly which cables you need. You rent a complete package at once.

What’s included in the Harting Kit?

In this Harting kit, you’ll find enough Harting cables to cover longer distances. Ideal for going from a power distributor to, for example, a truss construction to provide power to the lighting. To get the power into the Harting cables, this set comes with two break-ins with 8 schuko connectors. To get the power out of the Harting cables, this set comes with 4 break-outs. This kit consists of:

What are the specifications of the cables?

Our Harting cables are equipped with 18 conductors. These conductors all have a thickness of 2.5mm2. This allows you to fully load the cable on all power groups up to 16A without worrying. You don’t need to worry about any heat production. The conductors are thick enough to transport this amount of power. It is important to note that our break-ins and break-outs are based on a 1-9 pin assignment.

How do I use the Harting kit?

When you’re going to use Harting cabling during your event, you want to be sure you have enough material with you. With this kit, you have everything you need in one case. We take great care of our cables. For this reason, we deliver our cables neatly rolled up and clean in this kit. We would like to receive the cables back in the same way. If it happens that they are unexpectedly not returned clean or neatly rolled up, this may result in additional costs.
