Want to rent a moving head? Moving heads are an ideal addition to basic lighting, such as our wireless LED spots. With coloured light beams, movements, patterns, and figures, the moving heads in this light set create an extremely atmospheric and festive end result. These moving heads can function completely wirelessly, just like the wireless LED spots. With the help of the built-in battery, these moving heads last 7 to 14 hours. This depends on usage. With lots of movements and bright light beams, the moving heads last less long than with static mood lighting with rotating gobo.

How are the moving heads controlled?

Intelligent lighting, that’s what moving heads are the ultimate example of. Is this term entirely appropriate? Partly yes. The moving heads need to be externally provided with the right information regarding the execution of the correct movements, colours, and figures. Partly no, because they also have internal programs. However, these are often not very applicable and not suitable for most events. That’s why we supply this light set including lighting control. Fortunately, this is also easier to operate for everyone without experience.

The lighting control consists of the Wolfmix W1 MKII DMX controller. This DMX controller is easy to use and has various effects that can be set according to your own preferences. This lighting control can be operated by any user. You simply cannot do anything wrong or break anything.

Can I rent the moving head and also control it wirelessly?

Renting this moving head and using it wirelessly is possible. While the moving heads can function without power, cabling is still required for control. We do this to make controlling the moving heads possible even for less experienced users. This cabling needs to be laid from the lighting control to the moving heads. From the first moving head, you simply loop the cabling through to the other lamps in this light set. The order doesn’t matter here. The control of the lighting can, of course, be completely wireless, but we only recommend this for experienced lighting technicians or audiovisual professionals.

For this wireless control, an AsteraBox is required. This transmits the information from the lighting control wirelessly to all moving heads. These then receive information about movements, colours, and figures, after which they will immediately execute this. You can easily rent the AsteraBox with the extras of this set. Unfortunately, establishing this connection must be done manually at each location, which is why we do not recommend this for less experienced users.

What does the stand consist of?

Using fully wireless SGM G1 moving heads is very representative, but that doesn’t make them immediately suitable for more luxurious events. If you use this lighting at a gala or dinner, you naturally want the tripods to look chic as well. That has been taken into account. Renting this moving head is ideal for this type of event. We supply these with representative single pole tripods. These have no protruding parts, as with a tripod.
