What can I use this spot set for?

Transform a space into an atmospheric party hall in just moments. That’s what this spot set does. Renting this light set is ideal for events such as weddings, birthday parties, student parties, anniversary celebrations, or other events. We recommend using about one spot set per 40m2. So if you have a larger space, you can rent more than one light set and add it to your rental request. Complement the spot set with some fun light effects from our rental selection, such as a starburst or a moonflower and you’ll have a great light show set up in no time. Complete the whole setup by adding a smoke machine.

How do I use this light set?

If you’re going to use the spot set standalone, meaning just one spot set in a space, you can use the programs that are pre-programmed in the spot set. On the back of the light bar, you can adjust the spot set to one of the pre-programmed programs or a setting where it functions to the rhythm and intensity of the music. Do you want to use this spot set in multiples or in harmony with other DMX light effects? Then ask about the possibilities of adding a DMX light controller. Renting this light set is also possible if you don’t have much technical knowledge about party lighting yet.

How do I use this light spot set and how do I connect it?

The Showtec Compact Power Lightset MK2 is easy to use. Follow the steps below to set up and start using the light set.

1. Unfold the included tripod stand and place the light bar on top of the stand.
2. Connect the included power cable to the light bar and the power outlet.
3. If you receive the spot set, it will already be set to a light program. If you happen to have changed it, you can reset it using the menu on the back of the bar. It’s good to know what each item in the main menu means. Here’s the list:

• AuT0 = Automatic playback
• D001 = DMX address / DMX configuration
• SLAv = Slave mode
• SU00 = Sound-activated mode
• C01H = Static color
• Pr01 = Built-in programs
