What does this online meeting equipment set consist of?

Are no more than 20 people expected during the online meeting? Then this conference call set is ideal for your situation. This set consists of a base station, 5 external microphones, and 2 separate speakers for sound reproduction. This way, you can be sure that every participant can follow the online meeting crystal clear, and that the other party can hear your voices perfectly.

How does such a configuration work? You simply and quickly connect your laptop to the base station via the supplied USB cable. Are you using a tablet or phone? Then you need to connect it wirelessly via Bluetooth to the base station. In this configuration, the base station mainly takes care of establishing connections and handling all signal streams. The base station also has 3 internal microphones. These are installed in the housing in such a way that sound is picked up from various directions.

However, not every participant – in such a large group – sits at an equal distance from the base station. As a result, not every voice will be picked up equally well, and not everyone will be equally clear to hear for the other party. Especially for these meetings, this system has been expanded with 5 external microphones. This way, there is a microphone close enough to each participant to pick up the voice well. The sound from the other party is reproduced via two compact external speakers on a presentable stand with a round base. This ensures that the sound is clear and crisp for every participant.

How do I connect this online meeting set?

Fortunately, that’s not difficult. The heart of the configuration is still formed by your own laptop. This equipment serves to support or expand meetings in larger groups. The speaker and microphone in a laptop are not powerful enough for 2 participants. Don’t have your own laptop or MacBook? After starting the desired software for the meeting, you simply connect this equipment to the laptop or MacBook. In most cases, the laptop immediately recognizes the meeting equipment and the audio will be picked up and reproduced via this conference phone. If this doesn’t happen automatically, you can manually assign it through the laptop’s sound settings. Would you prefer to use the laptop for other things during the online meeting? It’s also possible to use a phone or tablet as an interface for the online meeting. In this case, you need to connect the phone or tablet to the equipment via Bluetooth. Then you use the desired meeting application, after which the audio of the meeting will be reproduced or picked up through the equipment.
