Description

This outdoor goalpost truss construction is designed to place banners and/or lighting outdoors. It’s a goalpost frame between which the banner can be stretched. The bottom of the truss configuration is weighted with ballast blocks of 450 kilos each. This ensures the construction stays in place. This truss construction is 7 meters wide and 3 meters high. Keep in mind that the ballast block extends 18 cm on each side beyond the 7 meters.

Can I adjust the dimensions of this outdoor goalpost truss construction?

That is possible. Truss is modular so we can adjust the length and height dimensions of the construction. Because this requires different materials, we’d be happy to make a custom proposal for you. What is the difference between the normal and outdoor version of this truss construction?

As you may have seen in the ‘banner frames’ category, we have this construction in regular form, called banner frame goalpost. The difference between the outdoor and regular goalpost is the addition of ballast under the truss legs of the outdoor frame. This extra weight is necessary to ensure the truss construction doesn’t blow over.

What should I consider when placing an outdoor goalpost frame?

The outdoor goalpost construction must be placed on a paved and level surface that can be reached by truck. This is to get the ballast on site. Additionally, you should note that we only rent this construction with setup & dismantling included (Pro AV customers excepted). This is due to the transport of the ballast. Also, keep in mind that truss lifts are needed for the setup & dismantling of this outdoor goalpost truss construction. You can add these at the top of this page. Here you can also choose which color truss you prefer as well as whether you wish to add lighting.

Are the banners included in the rental of this outdoor goalpost construction?

The banners are not included. These can be added to your request. You do this via the ‘extras’ on this page. Here you can add single-sided or double-sided banners per square meter. Banners are purchase items and must be ordered at least 14 working days prior to the rental period.
