The Pioneer DJM-900 NXS2 4-channel mixer is the standard in the DJ world. Many DJs have this mixer on their technical rider and are proficient with it. The DJ mixer is equipped with multiple EQ functions and various effects.
Can my DJ work with the Pioneer DJM-900 NXS2?
The DJM-900 NXS2 is Pioneer’s flagship. As this mixer is found at many parties and festivals, many DJs will be able to work with it. Despite the many functions on this mixer, it is very easy to use.
Can I also use this DJ mixer to play with a laptop?
The Pioneer DJM-900 NX2 is equipped with two USB connections on top of the mixer. This allows you to connect two laptops for operation. This makes it possible to use the DJ mixer as a controller for Rekordbox, Traktor, or Serato DJ Pro, for example.
Is it possible to record my DJ set?
The Pioneer DJM-900 NXS2 offers various possibilities to record your DJ set. On top of the mixer is a USB output to connect an iPhone or iPad. With the DJM-REC app, you can then record your DJ set. It is also possible to connect external recording equipment to the ‘Rec Out’ output. This is independent of the main output.
Can I connect a microphone to this DJ Mixer?
The Pioneer DJM-900 NXS2 has two inputs for a microphone. The volume of the microphone can be controlled on the mixer. You can turn the microphones on or off with a switch. It is also possible to select talk-over. This lowers the volume of the music when someone speaks into the microphone.
Can I rent the Pioneer DJM-900 NXS2 as an individual?
Unfortunately, it is not possible for individuals to rent this DJ mixer from us. As a business customer, it is possible to rent the Pioneer DJM-900 NXS2. As an alternative for individual customers, we would like to refer you to the Pioneer XDJ-RX3. This all-in-one DJ controller has a built-in 2-channel mixer based on this DJM-900 NXS2.
How do I connect the DJ mixer?
The Pioneer DJM-900 NXS2 comes with a power cable. By plugging this into the power outlet, the DJ mixer is powered. On the back of the player, you will find multiple input channels. These correspond with the faders on top of the mixer. You can connect a DJ player here using an RCA cable. By using the XLR output on the back of the Pioneer DJM-900 NXS2, you can connect a sound system.
