Can I connect a smartphone to this DJ Mixer?
The Pioneer DJM-A9 is equipped with a Bluetooth input. This allows you to wirelessly connect a phone or other device to the mixer. You can then route this to one of the four channels. This makes it easy to play quick requests directly and mix them into your sets. As the effects and faders work as usual with a DJ player, you can create smooth transitions with the wirelessly connected device.
Can I connect multiple headphones to the Pioneer DJM-A9?
This DJ mixer is equipped with multiple headphone connections. Each has its own controls. This makes playing together with another DJ even easier. Each DJ can adjust their own preference for cue, volume, and balance on the DJ mixer. Ideal when DJs want to play a back-to-back set, where one DJ can already prepare for the next transition.
Can I connect a microphone to this DJ mixer?
The Pioneer DJM-A9 is equipped with two microphone connections. Additionally, one microphone input has phantom power for using a condenser microphone. You can further adjust the microphones with three microphone effects. With the Push-to-Talk button, you can quickly address the audience without the microphone having to be constantly on.
Can I connect a laptop to the Pioneer DJM-A9?
This DJ mixer has the ability to connect a laptop, in fact, two at the same time. These can be connected via USB Type-B or Type-C. Both inputs for a laptop or computer have both USB connectors. So even the latest laptop can be connected to the Pioneer DJM-A9. You can then select the desired laptop with a switch. This makes it easy to switch from one laptop to another during a DJ change.
Can I rent this DJ mixer for personal use?
This mixer is only available for rental to business customers. It is not rented out to private individuals. For private individuals, we offer the Pioneer XDJ-RX3 in our rental assortment. This is a very complete DJ controller with many comparable functions to the DJM-A9.
How do I connect the Pioneer DJM-A9?
The Pioneer DJM-A9 comes with a power cable. By plugging this into the power outlet, the DJ mixer is powered. On the back of the player, you’ll find multiple input channels. These correspond with the faders on top of the mixer. You can connect a DJ player here using an RCA cable. By using the XLR output on the back of the Pioneer DJM-A9, you can connect a sound system. To pair a wireless Bluetooth device, press and hold the Pair button for a few seconds to put the DJ mixer in pairing mode. You can then select the mixer on the wireless device to establish the connection.
