Want to rent a presentation clicker? Are you organizing an event where a presentation will be given? Then it’s often desirable to be able to control the presentation on the laptop from a distance. For this, you use a clicker. This way, the speaker doesn’t have to walk to the laptop to open the next slide in the presentation. The speaker then has their hands relatively free.

How does the clicker work?

The Presentation Clicker Basic works wirelessly. The clicker is equipped with a USB receiver. Additionally, the clicker operates on two AAA batteries. The clicker is thus fully wireless to use, allowing the speaker to freely walk around the stage or through the space where the presentation is given. You can turn it on with the slider on the side of the clicker. You know the clicker is on when the green color is visible next to the slider. Does the presenter want to point at something? That’s possible with the built-in laser pointer.

How do I set up the Presentation Clicker Basic?

Fortunately, you don’t need to set up the Logitech clicker. You plug the included USB receiver into the USB port of the laptop containing the presentation. Then you turn on the clicker and you’re ready to present. No complicated settings. The USB receiver is paired with the clicker. When you have multiple clickers on location, it’s important that they don’t get mixed up.

What is the range of the clicker?

When you want a speaker to control the presentation remotely, it’s of course important that this is possible in terms of distance. The Presentation Clicker Basic has a range of 15 meters. This is sufficient range for most spaces. Do you have a larger conference room where the laptop is placed further than 15 meters from the speaker? Then we recommend using the Presentation Clicker Pro.
