Description
This audio set consists of a sound system with two speakers and an audio mixer. This sound set is suitable for groups of around 50 people. Through the extras on this page, you can easily add the number and type of microphones you desire. This way, you always have exactly what you need.
What can I use this presentation set for?
This presentation set is suitable for groups of up to 50 people. The two speakers have enough range to provide quality sound for such a number of people, assuming the space is designed for the same number of people. Other applications for this presentation set are all forms of speech or singing where you want sound reproduction.
Which type of microphone should I add?
The presentation set does not include a microphone. You can add this separately via the extras at the top of this page. This way, you always have the number and type of wireless microphone you need for your event. There is a choice of a handheld microphone, referred to above as ‘wireless microphone set‘. This microphone is most suitable if there are changing speakers or if you want the easiest possible experience. You can simply give the microphone to the speaker, and they can immediately start with the presentation.
In addition, we offer a headset microphone. Listed in the extras as ‘headset microphone set’. This is for business presentations where the speaker wishes to have their hands free. The headset microphone can be adjusted for each speaker. This type of microphone is recommended if there is a fixed speaker and the microphone does not need to be exchanged.
There is also a choice of a lavalier, lapel, or tie clip microphone. Mentioned above as ‘clip-on‘ microphone. This microphone can be pinned to the lapel. This allows the speaker to have their hands free. For this type of microphone, we recommend active sound control. This is because the microphone is very far from the speaker’s mouth and therefore has a higher chance of feedback.
As a final option, we have a microphone for audience interaction, for example during a Q section. This is a ‘catchbox‘. The catchbox is a cushion with a built-in wireless microphone that can be thrown to a guest in the audience. They can then ask a question, after which the cushion can be thrown to the next guest.
How many wireless microphones do I need for my presentation?
We always recommend keeping microphones for speakers separate from microphones for audience questions. Additionally, switching microphones between speakers is often not desirable. This is only possible with wireless handheld microphones anyway. A headset or wireless clip-on microphone cannot be passed from speaker to speaker, as pinning it on takes significant time. Therefore, we always advise keeping one microphone per speaker. Also, you need to consider the maximum number of people who will be speaking simultaneously.
Can I also use this sound set for singing?
In theory, after you’ve made a choice for the type of microphone at the top of this page, you can also use this sound set for singing applications. However, the sound system is not optimized for this. Nevertheless, it will certainly suffice for many applications.
I also want to play music through the presentation set, is that possible?
Certainly. If you add the product ‘Audio Adapter Mini Jack to 2x Jack 6.3’ via the extras at the top of the page, the sound set comes with a cable that adapts to mini jack. You can plug this into a phone, tablet, or laptop with a mini jack (aux) output for playing music from one of these audio sources.
