What light source can be found inside the Robe LEDBeam 350?

The housing contains no less than 12 RGBW multichip 40-watt light sources positioned together to produce a very powerful light beam. The highly efficient optical zoom system that can adjust the light beam from 3.8° to as much as 60° provides enormous range. Additionally, this lens is equipped with a special coating – developed by Robe itself – that prevents scratches and damage to the lens. This ensures that the quality and output of the Robe LEDBeam 350 remain of unparalleled quality. The total output of the Robe LEDBeam 350 is 8200 lumens, which is equivalent to the output of a 2500-watt halogen lamp.

How can I control the desired color of the Robe LEDBeam 350?

To create the desired color, this Robe LEDBeam 350 can use both a CMY and RGBW color mixing system – via DMX – making it possible to create millions of different colors. Using Robe’s DataSwatch™, you can quickly select and display 66 premix colors and tones – including white. If you want to use white tones, you can use the CTO channel, which allows for quick changes in color temperature – between 2700K and 8000K.

Can I also use gobos on this Robe LEDBeam 350?

No, unfortunately, that’s not possible. This is a wash moving head. Therefore, it does not have an advanced lens system that offers the ability to place gobos in front of the focus lens. If you’re looking for a moving head that can handle gobos, we recommend taking a look at our Robe PAINTE moving head. This one has more than enough capabilities on board for using gobos. The Robe PAINTE also has the ability to change those gobos, allowing for custom gobos.
