Description

The Shure Axient Digital AD4D is a two-channel digital receiver for AD and ADX transmitters from the Axient® Digital series. The groundbreaking performance includes a wide tuning range, low latency, and a High Density (HD) mode with an unprecedented number of channels and stable signal transmission, even in the most challenging RF environments.

What can I use this receiver for?

You can use this wireless microphone receiver to receive audio from our AD1 bodypacks and AD2 handheld transmitters. The AD1 is a bodypack that can be equipped with a lavalier, lapel, or headset microphone. The AD2 transmitter is a handheld microphone with a B58 capsule for speech or vocals. Both transmitters can be easily added to your request in the extras section at the top of this page.

In which frequency band does this Shure Axient Digital AD4D operate?

The AD4D receiver operates in Shure’s G56 frequency band. In practice, this means you can set this receiver between 470 MHz and 636 MHz. Of course, all corresponding transmitters are also available in the same frequency band.

How do I connect this Shure Axient Digital AD4D wireless microphone receiver?

Basically, you can connect this two-channel microphone receiver ‘simply’ with an XLR to the analog input of your mixing console or stage box. However, you can also use Dante if your mixing console has a Dante card. To control the receiver, you can use the buttons on the controller itself, but you can also control this (and even multiple) receiver(s) via network using Wireless Workbench.

Can I rent this Shure Axient Digital AD4D wireless receiver?

That depends. This two-channel wireless microphone receiver is only available for rental to Pro AV users. This means the transmitter can only be rented for business purposes by customers who deal with professional audiovisual systems on a daily basis. A portfolio may be requested.
