This sound set is suitable for events up to 225 people. Depending on the location, a few more people wouldn’t be a problem. Two 18″ subwoofers and two 15″ top speakers ensure beautiful reproduction of high and low tones. This sound system is often used for a wedding, birthday party, or other event with the right group size. You can easily connect a DJ mixer or DJ set to this sound system. What to use these rented speakers for?

Do you have a group of around 225 or 250 people? Then renting these speakers is a good idea. The two subwoofers and two top speakers provide a full sound spectrum. The set includes the necessary cables, so you can quickly and easily connect it to a DJ mixer, DJ set or audio mixer.

What does the speaker set consist of?

The audio set consists of two LD Systems Stinger 15A G3 top speakers and two LD Systems 18A G3 subwoofers, as well as two intermediate poles, four audio multi-cables and a power strip.

What can I connect this sound system to?

This sound system is very easy to set up and break down. This is because the amplifiers are built into the speakers. This makes the system plug & play. You can connect the speakers directly from the DJ mixer or audio mixer. Renting speakers for your event has never been easier. How do I set up this sound set and how do I connect it?

Place the LD Systems Stinger 18A G3 subwoofers on the flat side so that the logo is readable from the front. Tighten the intermediate poles with the thread bolt into the mounting point on top of the subwoofers. Adjust the height of the intermediate poles with the knob on the side of the pole. We recommend adjusting the top speakers to ear level. Place the LD Systems Stinger 15A G3 speakers on the intermediate poles and tighten the anti-rotation mechanism. Unroll the two provided multi-cables with the red cable tie. The end with the power plugs goes towards the DJ set or mixer. The end with the black plug (Powercon True1) goes towards the speakers.

The black plug (Powercon True1) can only go into one place on the subwoofer. When the plug is in the speaker, carefully turn it to the right until you hear a click. Do this for both subwoofers. The other connector in the multi-cable (XLR male) goes into the left position where it says ‘input’ on the subwoofers. Do this for both subwoofers as well. On the other side of the multi-cable, you’ll find the power plug. Connect this to the power supply. At this same end, you also have the (XLR female) plugs. These go into the sound source (DJ set or sound mixer). Then unroll the two multi-cables with the blue or yellow label. With this cable, you go to the subwoofers.

The large Powercon True1 loop-through plug goes into the subwoofers (don’t forget to turn it to the right). The XLR female on this side of the cable also goes into the subwoofer where it says ‘thru’. The other end of the loop-through cables goes towards the top speakers placed above the subwoofers. Connect these the same way as in steps 5 and 6. Turn on all equipment, including the DJ set or sound mixer, the speakers and the subwoofers. Set the desired volume on the back of the speakers and subwoofers and you’re ready to start.
