What’s the difference between a stage with and without finishing?

Above, you can choose between renting a finished and unfinished stage. Renting unfinished stages is the most economical. However, this doesn’t always fit the setting of the event. In that case, you might want a finished stage. An unfinished stage has no covering on the sides and no carpet on top. This means you can see the wood of the stage parts. With finished stage rentals, there’s a black skirt along the sides and an anthracite carpet on top.

What stage height should I choose?

At the top of this page, you can choose the height of your stage. The height you need depends on several factors. Such as what you’re renting stages for, how large and high the venue is, and from how far the audience needs to be able to see the person on stage. For a low ceiling in a small space, we recommend a 20cm high stage. The most common configuration is a 40cm high stage. This is for medium-sized venues with high ceilings. For larger venues with high ceilings, you can choose from 60cm, 80cm, or 100cm high stages.

What dimensions can I make with this stage?

You can choose how to arrange the 48m2 stage. You can make an 8 by 6 meter (most common), a 12 by 4 or a 16 by 3 meter stage. You can make all configurations with the same components. So you can see what best fits your situation and location. Stage rental is thus possible for many applications.

Does this stage come with stairs?

Absolutely. Stage staircases come in 20-centimeter increments. So for stages from 40cm and higher, one stage staircase is included with each stage. You can mount this stage staircase anywhere on the stage you want. Do you want a stage staircase on both sides and thus need an extra stage staircase? No problem. These can be added via the individual stage items in our rental shop. Or contact us for advice.

Can I rent stages and transport them myself?

That depends. A stage doesn’t fit in a passenger car. You need to transport it in a van, which needs a minimum loading space of 4 meters. This stage consists of 24 decks of 2 by 1 meter. You can, if you meet the minimum of rented equipment, also choose to use our transport service. In that case, it will be delivered and picked up on location.

How much weight can this stage hold?

Our stages are suitable for a maximum stage load of 750kg/m2. This means that each square meter of the stage can carry a maximum of 750 kilos. In reality, it’s difficult to reach such a high load on a 48m2 stage. For more technical specifications, we recommend downloading the manual on this page. Is the stage easy to set up take down?

Certainly. Anyone can rent stages and set them up take them down themselves. The system is very intuitive and easy to assemble. Keep in mind that you always need two people to be able to set up or take down a stage. So stage rental is not only reserved for professional event builders.

Can I further style the finish of a stage to my liking?

That’s possible to a certain extent. We offer the option to use other carpet colors such as red and blue. If you have another color in mind, please contact us to discuss the possibilities.

How do I set up this stage?

Take a stage part and slide the legs into the four corners at the bottom. Clamp them in place with the leg clamp in the stage part. Do this twenty-four times until you have twenty-four stage decks on the floor. Slide these together and connect them at the bottom with the supplied stage clamp(s). Then mount the stage staircase in the desired place. You do this by mounting the bolts on the stairs in the sliding profile on the outside of the stage. Then click the Velcro profiles onto the edge around the stage. You can attach the stage skirt to this. Finally, stick double-sided tape (supplied) 10cm from the outer edge on top of the stage. Start laying the carpet from one corner in a checkerboard pattern. Use the arrows on the bottom of the carpet tiles to easily determine the direction of the carpet fibers while laying.
