What does a stage clamp do?

A clamp is necessary for interconnecting stage sections. On one hand, it clamps two stage sections together, preventing a dangerous gap from forming between these two parts. On the other hand, this clamp ensures the leveling of the stage sections. This eliminates height differences between both parts, minimizing the risk of tripping.

How many stage clamps do I need?

For an extremely safe construction, you can interconnect all stage sections. This creates a solid unit that is fully leveled. This is mainly necessary in locations with small irregularities on the floor. If the floor is already completely flat and leveled, for example in a newly built conference center, then clamping only the outer edge is sufficient. This way, you create a stable outer ring, preventing the stage sections from shifting.

How do I mount a stage clamp?

Ensure that the stage sections are standing tightly against each other on their legs. Then hold the stage clamp under the center of two stage decks in a way that it points upwards in a U-shape. Next, tighten the wing nut so that the clamp attaches itself around the two frame beams of the stage decks. Keep in mind that these clamps are only suitable for stage sections from Prolyte.
