The LD Systems Stinger 18A G3 18″ active subwoofer provides powerful sub-bass for small to medium-sized events. Renting this subwoofer is a good choice if you want to combine it with, for example, LD Systems Stinger 8A G3 top speaker, LD Systems Stinger 12A G3 top speaker, or LD Systems Stinger 15A G3 top speaker. Renting the subwoofer and combining it with your own top speakers is also possible.

What can I use this subwoofer for?

This subwoofer is excellent for use at small to medium-sized events. It’s perfectly suitable for various events where powerful low tones are needed. The 18″ woofer has a sound level of 135 dB max SPL and 800 watts RMS. The amplifier is built-in, making the speaker plug play ready.

What accessories do you have for this subwoofer?

When you rent this subwoofer, it comes with a power cable. If you want to connect it to something and don’t have your own cables, rent an XLR signal cable with it. Other useful accessories for this speaker that you can add include: A speaker pole for placing a top speaker above this subwoofer.

Which preset should I select on the subwoofer?

The LD Systems Stinger 18A G3 subwoofer has multiple easy-to-use presets. You can choose at which frequency the subwoofer starts producing bass. You can select 80 Hz, 100 Hz, or 120 Hz. Depending on your preference, you can make a choice. The subwoofer also has a cardioid preset for when you’re going to use multiple subwoofers and want to use a subwoofer in a cardioid setup. I want to rent this subwoofer, will it fit in my car?

Every powerful subwoofer has a considerable size. After all, you need cabinet volume to produce powerful low tones. This subwoofer fits in most spacious station wagons and SUVs where the back seat can be folded flat. To be sure, we recommend checking the dimensions at the bottom of this page. How do I use this speaker and how do I connect it?

1. Remove the cover from the subwoofer and place the subwoofer so that the logo faces the room and is readable.
2. Connect the powerCON TRUE1 cable to the power connection of the subwoofer. Turn 90 degrees until you hear a ‘click’. Connect the other end to the power network.
3. Connect an audio cable (not included) to the audio connection located under the presets.
4. Connect the other end of your audio cable (not included) to your sound source.
5. Turn on the subwoofer and sound source and adjust the volume.
6. Select the desired preset for how you want to use the subwoofer.
