Do I need a license for this walkie-talkie?

The Kenwood TK-3401D walkie-talkie set is license-free. This allows you to immediately set up wireless communication during the various phases of your event. Many other walkie-talkies work on a different type of frequency that requires a license. Think of the walkie-talkies used by emergency services, for example.

What is the sound quality of the walkie-talkie set?

The Kenwood TK-3401D can be used in two different modes. It is possible to transmit both digital and analog signals. By using the digital signal, the quality is much higher. Thanks to the new AMBO+2 decoder, the walkie-talkie can filter out background noise, ensuring you can be understood even in busy environments.

Does the Kenwood TK-3401D also work with older walkie-talkies?

By using the walkie-talkie in analog mode, it is possible to communicate with older versions of Kenwood walkie-talkies. So if you already have an existing walkie-talkie installation on site, you can expand it with this walkie-talkie set.

Do I need to use my own materials with the walkie-talkie set?

Our walkie-talkie set comes with all necessary materials for the six walkie-talkies. The accessories include the push-to-talk buttons and earpieces (D-shape). In the case, you’ll find the chargers in a drawer. So it’s not necessary to use your own earpieces or push-to-talk buttons. Of course, that is possible if your own materials have the same connections.

How long does the walkie-talkie last?

Fully charged, the walkie-talkie has a battery life of 14 hours. We make sure the walkie-talkie is charged before we give it to you. With the built-in chargers in the drawer of the case, you can place the six walkie-talkies to charge them in between uses. This ensures you have a fully charged walkie-talkie during all production days.

Can I expand this set to more than six walkie-talkies?

In addition to this set of six walkie-talkies, we also rent out individual walkie-talkie sets. The individual sets contain all the necessary accessories that you also find in this set of six walkie-talkies. Feel free to add the desired number of extra walkie-talkies if you need, for example, 4 additional individual walkie-talkies.
