The LD Systems Stinger 15A G3 speakers have an integrated amplifier. So you don’t need to rent an external amplifier. The speakers can be connected to a DJ mixer or DJ set. But with the addition of a mixing console and adapter cable (via the extras on this page), this set can also be easily connected to a laptop, phone, or tablet.

How do I set up this sound set and how do I connect it?

Unfold the speaker stands and set them to the desired height. We recommend placing the speaker at ear level. Place the LD Systems Stinger 15A G3 speakers on the stand. Unroll the two included multi-cables. The end with the power plug goes towards the DJ set or mixer. The end with the black plug (Powercon True1) goes towards the speaker. The black plug (Powercon True1) can only go into the speaker in one place. When the plug is in the speaker, carefully turn it to the right until you hear a click.

Do this for both speakers. The other connector in the multi-cable (XLR male) goes into the left position where it says ‘input’ on the speaker. Do this for both speakers as well. At the other end of the multi-cable, you’ll find the power plug. Connect this to the power supply. At this same end, you also have the (XLR female) plugs. These go into the sound source (DJ set or sound mixer). Turn on all equipment, including the DJ set or sound mixer and the speakers. Set the desired volume on the back of the speakers and you’re ready to start.
