Description
Powerful strobe and blinder for small and medium-sized venues. Ideal for use at parties and events with up-tempo music. A lot has changed in lighting technology in recent years. And this Eurolite LED Strobe SMD PRO 540 DMX RGB proves it. This is no longer just a strobe light, as this lighting effect can now also serve as the foundation for your entire light show. It’s actually a 3-in-1 lighting effect, which can be used as a strobe light, blinder, and also as a wash light.
With 540 small RGB 0.2 watt LED units, this effect has a total output of 108 watts. Because these 540 LEDs are divided into 6 segments, it can create stunning optical effects. This makes this light extremely suitable for discotheques, clubs, and festivals. Of course, you can also use this strobe light for small and medium-sized parties at event venues or at home.
What is a strobe light?
A strobe light is a widely used product in the dance scene. You’ll often encounter this type of light at an afterparty or dance event. With its bright flashes, this strobe light gives an extra boost to every climax in the music. The flashes can create an intense feeling while dancing. However, they can also contribute to creating an optical illusion. When the light flashes at a high tempo, it can create the illusion that a person is standing still while dancing, or moving very jerkily. Where previously these flashes were only possible in bright white, you can now choose a color of your preference.
Is a strobe light dangerous for people with epilepsy?
A light with very bright and short flashes is unfortunately not without risks. The light can trigger epileptic seizures in people who are sensitive to this due to an epileptic predisposition. Even in people without this predisposition, stroboscopic light can have a disorienting effect. It is therefore necessary to have the proper knowledge when using such lights. Feel free to contact us for advice.
How do I control this strobe light?
You can control this versatile light in at least as many versatile ways. You can use the standard programs that are already programmed into the light. You can have the light flash along with the beat of the music, or you can use the master-slave function. For professional users, DMX-512 is of course also among the possibilities. However, in most cases, people use the included remote control. This ensures optimal ease of use for smaller to medium-sized events.
What accessories and options do you recommend when renting this strobe light?
When you rent this light, the remote control is included. As well as a hook to hang it. Make sure you pack these accessories when returning the product. Otherwise, there will unfortunately be additional costs. Some other accessories or additions might be interesting if you’re considering renting this strobe light. Think of an extra extension cable. Or a smoke machine to get the most out of the strobe and blinder effect. Or in case you can’t hang the strobe light anywhere in the space, a light stand.
