Description
Thinking about renting a confetti set? Are you organizing a building opening, unveiling a specific object or painting, or want to spectacularly open your event? Renting a confetti set ensures you add extra impact. This set is well-suited for smaller events. Additionally, renting a confetti set provides a dazzling and colorful start to your event or unveiling, creating an unforgettable moment.
What confetti shapes are possible when renting a confetti set?
The Confetti Set 4 can be configured in various ways. You have a choice in the shape of the confetti to be shot. You can choose from the usual snippets as you often see at various events. The snippets float down slowly and provide a long-lasting colorful effect. The confetti is shot by the shooters up to a maximum of 12 meters far/high.
Additionally, you have the choice of serpentine confetti. This is generally called streamers. That’s because these are long strands that are shot into the air. This gives a grand effect, but due to the longer shape, it will be on the ground faster. The streamers are shot up to 20 meters far. On this page, you can easily specify your desired shape.
What colors are available when renting a confetti set?
When renting a confetti set, it is standardly delivered with multicolor confetti. This includes all colors mixed in the tube from which the confetti is shot. Do you need a specific color for your event? On this page, you have a choice of many different colors in the color selection. Do you need a specific mix of colors? You can also choose this and indicate in the comments which color combination is desired.
Renting a confetti set. What does it consist of?
If you’re renting this confetti set, it consists of eight Magic FX shooting devices with a baseplate to attach the devices. Each cannon has its own confetti tube. That’s eight confetti tubes in your desired color or shape. This is enough for one shooting moment. Want to shoot confetti or streamers into the air more than once? Then choose more shooting moments in the product configuration. Additionally, the set comes with a control box with a key. You connect the shooting equipment to this box. This box also ensures that the confetti doesn’t go off unintentionally. Of course, everything is supplied with the necessary cabling.
How do I use the confetti set 4?
The confetti can be shot with the supplied control box. This is equipped with a key to ensure that the confetti doesn’t go off at an unwanted moment. This way, you maintain control over the shooting moment. On this box, there’s a ‘Fire’ button. When the key is set to ‘On’, the ‘Fire’ button will light up red. When this button is pressed, the confetti will be shot.
Next to this button, you will also find a switch. However, you won’t need this when directly connecting to the shooting devices. Want to let others determine the shooting moment? Then you can also use our white launch pole with red button. Want to know how to easily connect the set? We’ll explain that for you below.
I want to rent a confetti set. How do I connect it?
If you’re going to rent a confetti set, you read above that the set comes with the necessary power cables. However, the shooting devices are not suitable for connecting directly to a power outlet. The use of the control box or the launch button is always necessary. These interrupt the continuous power supply to the shooting devices. This prevents the shooting equipment from burning out. Unfortunately, these cannot be controlled wirelessly.
How do I connect the set with the control box?
1. Connect the supplied power cable (PowerCON TRUE1) to the Effectivator 1 to power the device. The black connector fits only one way into the controller. Insert the connector into the connector and gently turn it clockwise until you hear a click.
2. On the back of the controller, there’s a black flap with a Schuko output behind it. Connect the supplied power strip here. Then use the extension cables to bridge the distance between the power strip and the shooters. It doesn’t matter which output of the power strip you use. Unroll the extension cables to the desired location. You can connect two shooters per extension cable.
3. Mount the shooters on the baseplate to ensure stability during confetti firing. A maximum of two shooters can fit on one baseplate, using the outer holes for this purpose. Secure the shooters with the provided bolt and nut.
4. Use the provided PowerCON TRUE1 power cables to connect the shooters to the extension cables. The black connector fits into the shooter in only one way. Connect the cable and gently turn it clockwise until you hear a click.
5. Check the installation before firing confetti. Ensure that there are no tubes in the shooters yet. Then switch on the controller using the on/off switch on the back. Once the controller is on, a green LED will light up. Next, insert the key into the controller and turn it. The LED will now change to red, indicating that the controller is active.
Briefly press the ‘fire’ button to test. A white LED on the shooters will light up as long as the button is pressed. Have multiple people check this, as the LED goes out immediately when the button is released. Is everything working correctly? Then turn the key back and remove it from the controller.
6. Push the confetti tubes into the shooters. The internal clamps will automatically secure the tubes. Connect the asymmetrical connector of the tube to the shooter; this can only be done in one way due to its shape.
7. Once you insert the key into the controller again and turn it, the system is ready for use. Wait for the right moment and use the ‘fire’ button to shoot the confetti.
How do I connect the set with the launch button?
1. Connect the provided power cable (PowerCON TRUE1) to the launch pole to power it. The black connector fits into the pole in only one way. Insert the connector into the pole and gently turn it clockwise until you hear a click.
2. Next to the power connection on the launch pole, there is an outgoing power connection. Connect the provided power cable with a 2-way power strip to this. This connection also fits in only one way. Gently turn the connector clockwise until you hear a click. Then connect the provided 4-way power strip to the 2-way power strip, ensuring enough power outlets are available for the extension cables.
3. Use the provided extension cables to bridge the distance between the 4-way power strip and the shooters. The choice of outlet on the power strip doesn’t matter. Lay out the extension cables to the desired location of the shooters and connect two shooters to the end of each extension cable.
4. Mount the shooters on the provided baseplate for stability. Two shooters can be placed per baseplate, using the outer holes for this purpose. Secure the shooters with the provided bolt and nut to prevent them from falling over when firing the confetti.
5. Connect the provided PowerCON TRUE1 power cables for the shooters to the end of the extension cables. The black connector fits into the shooter in only one way. Insert the connector and gently turn it clockwise until you hear a click.
6. Before firing confetti, the system must be tested. Ensure that there are no tubes in the shooters yet. Test the system by pressing the red button. A white LED on the shooters will light up as long as the button is pressed. Have multiple people check if all LEDs light up, as they go out immediately when the button is released. Is everything working correctly? Then it’s time to install the tubes.
7. Push the confetti tubes into the shooters. The internal clamps will automatically secure the tubes. Then connect the asymmetrical connector of the tube to the shooter. This can only be done in one way due to its shape.
8. Wait for the right moment and fire the confetti by pressing the red button.
If I want to rent this confetti set, is it safe for the environment?
We understand that when renting a confetti set, you may be concerned about the environmental impact. The confetti we use in the cannons is biodegradable and therefore does not harm the environment. You can safely use the confetti set outdoors. However, this does not apply to metallic confetti such as gold and silver. These colors are only for indoor use.
