This white voile pipe drape is based on white voile fabric. You can use pipe drape to make a large space smaller. The pipe drape system consists of uprights and crossbars that together form a complete construction. Pipe drape systems can screen off your space from 1.80 meters up to 4 meters high. A single crossbar has a retracted length of 1.80 meters, but fully extended can span up to 3 meters. The fabric is attached to the crossbar using Velcro. This system stands stable due to the base plates that weigh 8 kg each. White voile pipe drape is rented per linear meter with a minimum of 2 linear meters.
What is pipe drape and what can I use pipe drape for?
Pipe drape is a versatile system that allows you to easily modify a space. Whether you want to create a backdrop for a stage, partition off part of a hall, or give an event an elegant appearance, white voile pipe and drape is the solution. Additionally, it helps improve acoustics and can be used to determine a route.
What is white voile?
A voile pipe drape fabric is different from what you’re used to with normal white pipe drape fabrics. Voile is translucent. This means you can still see what’s on the other side of the fabric. When you combine this with lighting, it creates a beautiful effect. Want to create an illuminated wall, for example? Then place black or white pipe and drape behind this white voile pipe drape. You can place lighting in between for a beautiful overall effect.
Is white voile pipe drape smooth or pleated?
By default, our white voile pipe drape comes with smooth fabrics without pleats. The advantage of smooth fabrics is that you can create pleats yourself. It’s very easy! By removing the fabric from the crossbar at the desired spots and bringing it together, you create a pleat. When you do this, you need more fabric to cover a certain linear meters. You can indicate your preference at the top of this page. For the pleated variant, we provide more voile fabric.
How does white voile pipe and drape work?
The system consists of separate components: pipes and drapes. The pipes are attached to sturdy floor plates, and the crossbars connect the uprights. This creates a stable construction to which the curtains can be easily hung. A single section has a maximum length of 3 meters wide, but by adding extra components, you can extend the system to any desired length.
Can I set up and dismantle white voile pipe and drape myself?
Absolutely! The system is designed to be assembled without technical knowledge. Most people set it up without any problems. We recommend doing it with at least two people. In our video, we show step by step how to do this.

How do I set up white voile pipe drape?
Are you renting white voile pipe drape? Before reading the explanation, we recommend watching the video in our media gallery for this product. This will give you an excellent idea of how to set up pipe drape.
1. Take a crossbar from the cart and extend it to its maximum length. Then place it where you want to position the pipe drape. Repeat this until you have placed a crossbar in all locations where you want to set up pipe drape. If you cannot fit the crossbar at its maximum length in a corner, you can of course keep it shorter.
2. Next, take a baseplate (foot plate) from the cart. Take the orange pin from the cart. Loosen the Allen screw by hand and place it through the center hole in the baseplate. Tighten the orange pin hand-tight onto the plate. Don’t use any tools; it’s not necessary.
3. Place the baseplate with the orange pin screwed on at the spots where two crossbars meet. This is where an upright will be placed.
4. Then take an upright and slightly loosen the bottom knob. Extend the tube by 20cm and tighten it again. Slide the upright over the orange pin on the baseplate. Repeat this for each upright you need.
5. Then take the crossbar and press the locking pin on top of the upright when you attach the crossbar. You can release it once the crossbar pin has gone into the upright. Then you can attach the other side of the crossbar to the other upright. This works in the same way.
6. Make sure the floor under the pipe drape hardware is clean. Now take the drape from the drape crate. Attach the drape to the crossbar with Velcro. Unfold the drape so it hangs freely.
7. Now two people can extend the uprights in two steps. Start with the top tube. Slightly loosen the top knob on the upright, slide the upper upright up, and tighten it again with the knob. Now repeat this action with the bottom tube. Your pipe drape is now ready to use.
What should I consider when renting white voile pipe drape?
During disassembly, keep in mind that the drapes must be returned clean. Therefore, first clean the ground and fold the drape back into the crate with two people as it was delivered. If drapes are returned dirty or unfolded, cleaning costs will be charged. Given the square meters of the drapes, these cleaning costs can be significant, so we recommend preventing this and returning the drapes clean.
