How does a Catchbox microphone set work?

When renting this set, a Catchbox is equipped on the inside with a beltpack transmitter. This is connected to a microphone in the cushion. As a result, the audio signal is transmitted wirelessly to the receiver. Just like with any other wireless microphone. This receiver is then connected to the audio system.

What is the difference between this separate Catchbox and the Catchbox microphone set you offer?

The separate Catchbox is only the cushion. You still need to connect a transmitter, receiver, and sound system to use it. If you prefer a ready-to-use Catchbox set (cushion + transmitter + receiver), then it’s best to choose the Catchbox set. On this page, you can view the Catchbox set.

Which colors of Catchbox microphone sets do you offer for rent?

That’s the beauty of a Catchbox. We can fully personalize it with your colors and logo. What else do I need besides the Catchbox microphone set to use it?

This set can be connected to a sound system with an XLR microphone input. If you don’t have this available on location, please contact us. We’ll then add it to your quote. Please note that the set doesn’t include an XLR cable. If you wish to rent only the set, add an XLR cable as well. You can easily do this through the extras at the top of this page.

How do I connect the Catchbox microphone set to a sound system?

Place a wireless transmitter (beltpack) synced with the receiver in the inner compartment of the Catchbox. Connect it to the Catchbox using the internal cable. Then connect the receiver to the sound system, and you can start.
