What confetti shapes are possible?

The confetti set 2 can be configured in various ways. You have the choice in the shape of the confetti to be shot. You can choose from the usual snippets as you often see at various events. The snippets float slowly downwards and provide a long-lasting colorful effect. The confetti is shot up to a maximum of 12 meters far/high by the shooters. Additionally, you have the option of serpentine confetti.

This is usually called streamers. That’s because these are long strips that are shot into the air. This creates a grand effect, but due to the longer shape, it will reach the ground faster. The streamers are shot up to 20 meters far. On this page, you can easily specify your desired shape.

What colors are available for confetti set 2?

The confetti set comes standard with multicolor confetti. This includes all colors mixed in the tube from which the confetti is shot. Do you need a specific color for your event? In the color choice on this page, you have a selection of many different colors. Do you need a specific mix of colors? Then you can also choose this and indicate in the comments which color combination is desired.

What does the confetti set consist of?

Confetti set 2 consists of four Magic FX shooting devices with a baseplate to secure the devices. Each cannon has its own confetti tube. That’s four confetti tubes in your desired color or shape. This is enough for one shooting moment. Want to shoot confetti or streamers into the air more than once? Then choose for more shooting moments in the product configuration. Additionally, the set comes with a control box with a key. You connect the shooting equipment to this box. This box also ensures that the confetti doesn’t go off unintentionally. Of course, everything is supplied with the necessary cabling.

How do I use confetti set 2?

The confetti can be fired using the included control box. This is equipped with a key to ensure that the confetti doesn’t go off at an undesired moment. This way, you maintain control over the firing moment. On this box, there is a ‘Fire’ button. When the key is set to ‘On’, the ‘Fire’ button will glow red. Pressing this button will launch the confetti. Next to this button, you will also find a switch.

How do I connect the confetti set?

Earlier, you read that the confetti set comes with the necessary power cables. However, the shooting devices are not suitable for direct connection to a power outlet. The use of the control box or the launch button is always necessary. These interrupt the continuous power supply to the shooting devices. This prevents the shooting equipment from burning out. Unfortunately, these cannot be controlled wirelessly.

How do I connect the set with the control box?

1. Power the Effectivator 1 using the supplied power cable (PowerCON TRUE1). The black connector of the powerCON TRUE1 cable can only be attached to one place on this controller. When you connect the plug to the device, gently turn it to the right until you hear a click.

2. At the back of the controller, you’ll also find a Schuko output. This is behind a black flap. This is where you connect the shooters. Start by connecting the supplied power strip to the Schuko output of the controller. Then use the supplied extension cables to increase the distance between the power strip and the shooters. The choice of output on the power strip is not relevant here. Lay out the extension cables to the location where you want to install the shooters. At the end of each extension cable, you connect two shooters.

3. Now you can install the shooters. You can screw two shooters onto one baseplate. Use the outer holes on the baseplate for this. This prevents the shooter from falling over during shooting. In the crate, you’ll find a bolt and nut. Use these to easily attach the shooters to the plate.

4. Using the supplied power cables (PowerCON TRUE1), we connect the shooters to the end of the extension cables. The black plug of the PowerCON TRUE1 cable can only be connected to one spot on the shooter. Once the plug is connected to the device, gently turn it clockwise until you hear a click.

5. Now the entire system is connected, and we can test it! To prevent confetti from being fired prematurely, do this without placing the tubes. First, turn on the controller. On the back of the controller, you’ll find an on/off switch to turn it on. The control LED on top of the controller will now light up green. Insert the provided key into the controller and turn it. Now the control LED turns red.

Note: the controller is now active! Because the tubes are NOT yet connected, you can now safely press ‘fire’. When pressing this button, a white LED on the shooters will light up. Since this LED only lights up when this button is pressed, it’s best to check this with multiple people. Once you’ve confirmed that everything works, you can turn the key back and remove it from the controller.

6. Now we can place the tubes with confetti in the shooters. Push the tube into the shooters. The internal clamps ensure that the tubes are automatically secured. Now connect the small plug attached to the tube to the connection on the shooter. Due to the asymmetrical shape, this is only possible in one way. Once this is done, the system is ready for use!

7. To put the system into use, insert the key back into the controller. Turn it so that the system becomes active. Now it’s a matter of waiting for the right moment to fire the confetti. Use the ‘fire’ button for this.

How do I connect the set with the launch button?

1. Power the launch pole using the supplied power cable (PowerCON TRUE1). The black connector of the PowerCON TRUE1 cable can only be attached to one spot on the pole. When you connect the plug to the pole, gently turn it clockwise until you hear a click.

2. Next to the connection for connecting the launch pole to the mains, you’ll find an outgoing power connection. Connect the supplied power cable with a 2-way power strip to this. The black PowerCON TRUE1 loop-through connector can also only be connected to one spot on this pole. When the plug is in the pole, gently turn it clockwise until you hear a click.

3. Now use the supplied extension cables to increase the distance between the 2-way power strip and the shooters. The choice of output on the power strip is not relevant here. Lay out the extension cables to the location where you want to install the shooters. At the end of each extension cable, connect two shooters.

You can test by pressing the red button on top of the launch pole. When pressing the red button, a white LED on the shooters should light up. Check this with multiple people. Since this LED only lights up when this button is pressed, it’s best to check this with multiple people. Is everything working? Then we can move on to the next step where we’ll place the tubes.

7. Gently push the tubes into the shooters. The internal clamps ensure that they are automatically secured. Now connect the small plug attached to the tube to the connection on the shooter. Due to the asymmetrical shape, this is only possible in one way. Once this is done, the system is ready for use!

8. Then, wait for the right moment and shoot the confetti by pressing the red button.

Is this set environmentally friendly?

You don’t need to worry about the confetti being harmful to the environment. The confetti used in the cannons is biodegradable and therefore does not damage the environment. You can safely use the confetti set outdoors. However, this does not apply to metallic confetti such as gold and silver. These colors are for indoor use only.
