What else do I need to use this microphone?

A headset microphone like the DPA 6066 does not work without a transmitter and receiver. Do you want to rent a complete set with headset, transmitter, and receiver? Then check out our wireless headset package. The microphone as shown on this page is only the separate microphone for if you already own the transmitter and receiver.

Can I, as a layperson, use this microphone?

In principle, yes. However, keep in mind that such a headset is very delicate. This means you must handle it with extreme care during use and storage. As a layperson, we always recommend renting the complete set mentioned above, instead of the standalone product. This way, you’re sure to have everything you need.

With which beltpacks can I use this DPA 6066 microphone?

The headset can be used with both Sennheiser and Shure beltpacks through a DAD adapter. You need to add the DAD adapter to your rental order. You can do this via the extras at the top of this page. For Sennheiser, you need the DAD 6034 adapter. This converts from DPA MicroDot to Mini-Jack. Mini-Jack is the connection for the Sennheiser Evolution, EW-DX, and XSW series. For Shure beltpacks, you need the DAD 6010 adapter.
