When using a large TV screen or video wall, you are limited to the size of the screen or screens. There are no possibilities to even approach a specific size. It is therefore difficult to make such a screen fully match the stage or incorporate it into a set. Renting an LED wall offers a solution. You can compare this to a large empty canvas. You can adjust the size of the canvas as desired and determine entirely yourself what content should be displayed during a conference or congress. This LED wall has a size of 6 meters wide and 3 meters high, but as mentioned, all kinds of dimensions are possible.

How does an LED wall work?

Renting an LED wall is built up from different panels, also called tiles. These have a size of 0.5 x 0.5 meters. You attach these loose tiles to each other like a puzzle. This makes it possible to create a whole that can take on dimensions at every whole or half meter. This LED wall is built up of 72 separate LED tiles. By placing 24 tiles in width and 6 in height, you eventually create a wall of 6 x 3 meters, but you can also come to us for a larger version.

As mentioned, you can also fully determine the shape of the screen according to your own insight. Often a very wide screen is chosen because this gives the most visibility during an event, but you can also choose multiple narrow and tall screens or square constructions. What is the distance between the pixels?

You don’t have to deal with this when using a TV or video wall, but you do when using an LED wall. Maybe you’ve noticed it before. If you look at a TV screen from very close up, you see lots of small boxes that each take on a color. We call the distance between these two separate boxes the ‘pitch’. For a TV or video wall, this distance is not important. The pixels are so close together that you can no longer distinguish individual pixels from a viewing distance of one meter.

In an LED wall, these pixels are further apart, which affects the viewing distance. After all, you don’t want the audience to be able to distinguish the independent pixels. This detracts from the quality of the event. In this LED wall, the pixels are positioned 2.6 mm apart. This LED wall thus has a pitch of 2.6. For an LED wall, this pixel density per square meter is very high. For a quality experience, the audience only needs to be positioned 3 meters from the screen. From this distance, the independent pixels can no longer be distinguished from each other.

Can I also rent an LED Wall in a different size?

In most cases, renting an LED wall for an event is always subject to customization. Sometimes it’s about creating specific dimensions for integration into the set. Other times it has to do with the dimensions and possibilities at the location. This price gives an indication of the costs for renting such an LED wall, but possibilities on location and wishes regarding control cause fluctuations in the price.
