With such a large screen, you’re not only flexible in the dimensions you can use. You can also rent an LED Wall and adjust the proportions entirely to your preference.

How does an LED wall work?

A complete LED wall rental is created with multiple small panels. These panels have a dimension of 50 by 50 cm, but by connecting these panels, you can create a complete wall. You can consider the individual panels as a kind of puzzle pieces. This LED wall is built from 120 tiles. 20 panels are placed in width and 6 in height. This ultimately results in a screen of 30m2 with a dimension of 10 meters wide and 3 meters high.

You can also find a version of 6 x 3 meters with us. Of course, these are just examples, and such a screen will always be customized. Depending on the location and the audience, a specific plan is made for each event.

What is the Pitch of the LED Wall?

Not only are the total dimensions of the LED wall a feature to consider. The pitch is also an important factor. The pitch is the distance between pixels expressed in millimeters. Renting an LED wall with a lower pitch thus has a higher resolution. A higher resolution is capable of displaying a lot of details. This is perfect if the audience is close to the screen. At a greater distance, these details are not noticeable, and you lose this advantage. Financially, a very low pitch is not always desirable either.

An LED wall with a lower pitch has a higher price. This LED wall has a pitch of 3.9. This means that the audience can no longer distinguish individual pixels from 4 meters away. With a stage between the LED wall and the audience, you quickly reach this distance, so a lower pitch is not necessary. Renting an LED Wall thus requires the necessary calculations.

What placement options does the LED Wall have?

But we’re not there yet. Once you have determined the desired dimensions and the right pitch for your LED wall, you also need to make choices regarding the assembly. You can build an LED wall from the ground up. A so-called standing assembly, also known as ‘stacked’. Here, you place the LED wall on the ground or on an elevation. Gravity does the rest. On the back, we provide the LED wall with a special frame to give the whole the necessary stability. Of course, the audience ultimately sees nothing of this.

Is building from the ground not possible or can the LED wall not reach high enough this way? Then you can also choose for a hanging assembly. Here, the LED wall is suspended from a truss attached to the roof of the venue. There are a few points to consider here. Due to the high weight of a complete LED wall, both the truss and the ultimate load on the roof of the venue must be subjected to a qualitative structural calculation. These materials and ultimately the roof must be able to bear the load after all. When renting an LED Wall, some calculations need to be made before placement.

Actually, there is no standard size for renting an LED wall. The dimensions, ratio, and price are always adjusted to the number of visitors, possibilities at the location, and wishes of the client.
