The Konig Meyer 23760 telescopic microphone boom is very lightweight. With a long length when extended, you have the ability to easily reach a speaker. Ideal for use during TV show recordings.
Is the microphone boom easy to use?
The microphone boom is adjustable in length. The minimum length is 120 centimeters. Do you have a speaker at a greater distance from the person holding the boom? Then you can extend the boom to a maximum length of 460 cm. Due to its light weight of only 800 grams, the boom is easy to handle even at its longest extension.
What is a microphone boom used for?
You will undoubtedly have seen the microphone boom during TV shows with an audience. For questions from the audience, a technician walks towards the person and uses the microphone boom to place the microphone close to the speaker. This can of course be used in other applications as well. For example, you can also use the boom to hold a microphone above actors during film recordings.
Is the microphone holder included?
The microphone boom is not supplied with a holder. The microphone holder depends on the microphone you want to use. Not every microphone fits in every holder. Therefore, we recommend sticking to the microphone holder of the microphone you intend to use. The microphone boom is equipped with a 3/8 inch thread at the end, which will fit most microphone holders. A good suggestion is to rent this boom stick in combination with a wireless handheld microphone.
