This is one of the most frequently rented platform sizes. Can be used as a 6 x 2, 4 x 3, or 3 x 4 meter platform.

What is the difference between platforms with and without finishing?

Above, you can choose between a finished and unfinished platform. An unfinished platform is the most economical option, but it may not always fit the setting of the event. In that case, you might want a finished platform. An unfinished platform has no covering on the sides and no carpet on top. This means you can see the wood of the platform sections. A finished platform has a black skirt along the sides and an anthracite carpet on top.

What stage height should I choose?

At the top of this page, you can choose the height of your platform. The height you need depends on several factors, such as what the platform is for, how large and high the venue is, and from how far the audience needs to be able to see the person on the platform. For a low ceiling in a small space, we recommend a 20cm high platform. The most common configuration is a 40cm high platform. This is suitable for medium-sized venues with high ceilings. For larger venues with high ceilings, you can choose from 60cm, 80cm, or 100cm high platforms.

What dimensions can I make with this stage?

You can choose how to arrange the 12m2 platform. You can make a 4 by 3 meter platform (most common), 3 by 4, or a 6 by 2 meter platform. You can create all configurations with the same components. So you can see what best fits your situation and location.

Does this stage come with stairs?

Absolutely. Stage staircases come in 20-centimeter increments. So for stages from 40cm and higher, one stage staircase is included with each stage. You can mount this stage staircase anywhere on the stage you want. Do you want a stage staircase on both sides and thus need an extra stage staircase? No problem. These can be added via the individual stage items in our rental shop. Or contact us for advice.

Can I transport a stage myself?

That depends. A platform doesn’t fit in a passenger car. You need to transport it in a van, which requires a cargo space of more than 2 meters. This platform consists of six decks of 2 by 1 meter. If you meet the minimum of rented equipment, you can also choose to use our transport service. In that case, it will be delivered and picked up on location.

How much weight can this stage hold?

Our platforms are suitable for a maximum platform load of 750kg/m2. This means that each square meter of the platform can support a maximum of 750 kilos. In reality, it’s difficult to reach such a high load on a 12m2 platform. For specific technical specifications, you can look at the product page of the individual products. Is the stage easy to set up take down?

Certainly. Anyone can set up dismantle a platform. The system is very intuitive and easy to assemble. Keep in mind that you always need two people to set up or dismantle a platform.

Can I further style the finish of a stage to my liking?

That’s possible to a certain extent. We offer the option to use other carpet colors such as red and blue. If you have another color in mind, please contact us to discuss the possibilities.

How do I set up this stage?

Take a platform section and slide the legs into the four corners at the bottom. Clamp these in place with the leg clamp in the platform section. Do this six times until you have six platform decks standing on the floor. Slide these together and connect them at the bottom with the provided platform clamp(s). Then mount the platform staircase in the desired place. You do this by mounting the bolts on the staircase in the sliding profile on the outside of the platform.

Then click the Velcro profiles onto the edge around the stage. You can attach the stage skirt to this. Finally, stick double-sided tape (provided) 10cm from the outer edge on top of the stage. Start laying the carpet from one corner in a checkerboard pattern. Use the arrows on the bottom of the carpet tiles to easily determine the direction of the carpet fibers while laying.
