What’s the difference between a stage with and without finishing?

Above, you can choose between renting a finished and unfinished round stage. Renting an unfinished round stage is the most economical, but it doesn’t always fit the setting of the event. In that case, you might want a finished stage. An unfinished stage has no covering on the sides and no carpet on top. This means you can see the wood of the stage sections. A finished round stage has a black skirt along the sides and an anthracite carpet on top.

What stage height should I choose?

At the top of this page, you can choose the height of your round stage. The height you need depends on several factors. What is the stage for? How high is the venue? From what distance should the audience be able to see the speaker on the stage? For a low ceiling in a small space, we recommend a 20cm high stage. The most commonly used configuration is a 40cm high stage. This is for medium-sized venues with high ceilings. For larger venues with high ceilings, you can choose from a 60cm, 80cm, or 100cm high stage.

Does this stage come with stairs?

Round stages do not come with stairs as standard. This is because stage stairs cannot be directly mounted to the round side of the stage. Can I transport a stage myself?

That depends. A round stage doesn’t fit in a passenger car. You need to transport it in a van, which requires a loading space of more than 2 meters. If you meet the minimum of rented equipment, you can also choose to use our transport service. In that case, it will be delivered and picked up at the location.

Can I also rent individual parts of a round stage?

At Rental Supplier, you rent a round stage as a complete unit. Unfortunately, you can’t rent individual parts of a round stage. Of course, you can choose to rent a round stage and only pick up a portion of it.

How much weight can this stage hold?

Our stages are suitable for a maximum stage load of 750kg/m2. This means that each square meter of the stage can support a maximum of 750 kilos. In reality, it’s difficult to reach such a high load on a stage of this size. Is the stage easy to set up dismantle?

Certainly. Anyone can set up dismantle a stage. The system is very intuitive and easy to assemble. Keep in mind that you always need two people to set up or dismantle a stage.

Can I further style the finish of a stage to my liking?

That’s possible to a certain extent. We offer the option to use other carpet colors, such as red and blue. If you have a different color in mind, please contact us to discuss the possibilities. When renting a round stage, event carpet is often used. We can order this to size for you, so you have the right dimensions and color for your stage. The carpet still needs to be cut from square to round. This can be easily done with a carpet knife.

How do I set up this stage?

Take a stage section and slide the legs into the stage leg holders at the bottom. Secure the legs with the leg clamps in the stage section. Do this until you have all stage decks standing on the floor. Slide them together to create the round shape of the stage and connect them at the bottom with the provided stage clamps. Depending on the chosen finishing option, stage skirting with velcro or double-sided tape is provided. Attach this to the sides of the stage. Finally, stick double-sided adhesive tape (provided) on top of the round stage, 10cm from the outer edge. You attach the carpet to this. A roll of event carpet still needs to be cut round with a carpet cutter.
