Description

The Shure Axient Digital AD1 Bodypack Transmitter is a lightweight, robust, and portable transmitter suitable for use with the Axient® Digital wireless system.

What can I use this Shure Axient Digital AD1 Bodypack Transmitter for?

This transmitter can be perfectly used for connecting a portable microphone, such as the Shure WL184 lavalier or the DPA 6066 headset. The transmitter ensures wireless transmission of the audio to the receiver. You can add all these items via the extras at the top of the page.

In which frequency band does this transmitter operate?

Our Shure Axient Digital AD1 Bodypack Transmitters are only available in Shure’s G56 band. This band starts at 470 MHz and ends at 636 MHz. All transmitters and receivers from the Shure Axient range in the rental shop are only available in the G56 frequency band.

How long do the batteries of the bodypack last?

That depends on the transmission power you have set for the beltpack. You can set this beltpack to a transmission power of 2, 10, or even 35 mW. This increases or decreases the power with which the transmitter broadcasts. By increasing the transmission power, you can create better reception on the receiver when it’s not optimal. If you experience interference or disruptions on other receivers, it might be better to lower the transmission power, which makes the reception more stable.

For the operation of the bodypack transmitter, you need to place two AA batteries (not included) behind the flap. At a transmission power of 2 or 10 mW, the transmitter lasts about 8 hours on two full alkaline batteries. At a transmission power of 35 mW, you can effectively use the transmitter for only 3:30 hours.

Can I rent this beltpack transmitter?

That depends. This Shure Axient Digital AD1 Bodypack Transmitter is only available for rent to Pro AV users. This means the transmitter can only be rented for business purposes by customers who work with professional audiovisual systems on a daily basis. A portfolio may be requested.
