Description

The single tube is a frequently used addition when creating a complete truss structure or grid. It’s not specifically necessary for constructing such a stable structure, but rather an essential accessory. With this single tube, you can attach equipment in places that initially weren’t possible using only truss. For example, by mounting a tube crosswise on a truss, new spots are created where lighting, speakers, or screens can be placed. Another application for the single tube is creating braces.

This is often applied in outdoor structures. These are influenced by wind, which can push quite forcefully against the structure, resulting in forces that cause it to deform. By placing braces around the corner pieces, these forces can be better absorbed. This results in a more stable structure and also less damage to the materials. Perhaps unnecessarily, but we’ve left out the safety aspect regarding reinforcing the structure.

Connecting single tubes, how does it work?

This single tube has a length of 300 centimeters and has conical couplings on both sides. This makes this Prolyte tube excellent for extending. Using the widely used CCS6 coupling system, it’s possible to combine tubes from the same series. This allows you to always achieve the ideal length. With this system, it’s also possible to use this single tube as an outrigger. By attaching it to the end of a truss, it creates an extension to which you can attach equipment or fabrics.

Are the truss pins for connecting truss tubes included in the rental?
