The single tube, a commonly used item in larger productions. You can see the single tube as a kind of extension to an already placed truss construction. Sometimes a light needs to be placed in a specific spot, where mounting directly to the truss is not a solution. Often this spot can be reached by adding a single tube. Using clamps, it can be attached perpendicularly or diagonally to a truss, for example.

Can I connect this truss tube to other truss tubes?

This single tube has a length of 50 cm. In event technology, this is a very short version. As described earlier, this pipe can be used to hang a fixture exactly in the desired location, but in practice, this tube will more likely be used as an extension to create exactly the right length of single tube. Our truss tubes are equipped with conical couplings. This allows these tubes to be coupled to a square or triangular truss from the 30 series of Prolyte. On the other hand, it also makes these tubes connectable to each other. By combining tubes of other lengths with this 50 cm length, you can always get as close as possible to the desired length.

Do I get the truss pins for coupling with the rental of the truss tubes?

The truss pins for connecting the conical single tubes are not included in the rental. For this, you can add a truss pinbox to your rental order. You will find this among the ‘extras’ at the top of this page.

Can I also rent this truss tube in black?

Certainly. At the top of this page, you can switch between the aluminum-colored truss tube and black-colored truss tube. Silver-colored tubes are more economical here.
