The Sparkular provides a beautiful effect based on cold fire, so you don’t need a fireworks permit. Ideal for any type of event where you want to create a wow effect.

What does the Sparkular FX Set 1 consist of?

The set consists of two Showven Sparkulars to use on either side of the stage. Additionally, you’ll find the necessary cabling and control system for the Sparkulars in this set. Furthermore, this set is also provided with the required powder for the devices. This amount of powder is enough for about 10 minutes of cold fire. How high does the firework fountain effect reach?

The Sparkular FX set 1 is capable of creating a fire fountain up to a certain height. For a nice wow effect, this set can reach a height of 5 meters. The height of the effect can be determined with the controller. With this, you have a range of 2 to 5 meters.

Is the Sparkular FX set 1 safe to use?

Because the Sparkular creates sparks of cold fire, this set is safe to use. Both indoor and outdoor use is no problem. Despite the fact that the effect consists of cold fire, we recommend maintaining a small safety margin of 1 meter around the Sparkular. Additionally, it is advisable not to let the sparks hit a ceiling or other overhead covering for prolonged periods.

How do I use the spark fountain set?

The Sparkular FX set 1 is easy to use. With the included controller, you can easily operate the fire fountains. As mentioned earlier, each Sparkular comes with powder for about 10 minutes of effect. Of course, you don’t have to use these 10 minutes all at once. By operating the Sparkulars with the controller, you determine how long and how often the effect is shown. This way, you can spread the 10 minutes over the duration of your event. Do you need more powder to create a firework effect for longer than 10 minutes? Then please contact us. Keep in mind that the devices need about 10 minutes to warm up. So turn them on in advance.

How do I connect the Sparkular FX set 1?

1. You start by placing the Sparkulars in the desired location. Once you have placed them in a safe place with a stable surface, you need to connect them to the power grid. You do this with the supplied PowerCON cables. Recognizable by the blue connector. The blue PowerCON connector can only be connected to one place on the device. When the plug is in the device, gently turn it to the right until you hear a click.

2. Then place the supplied controller in a location from where you want to operate the Sparkulars. Keep in mind to have direct sight of the firework fountains, so you always know if you can use them safely. Connect the controller to the power grid with the supplied power cable.

3. Once you’ve done that, you can start connecting the DMX cables to control the firework fountains. A long cable is typically used between the controller and the first Sparkular. Start by connecting the male end (with 3 pins) of the cable to the DMX output of the controller. Then plug the other end of the cable (the side with 3 holes) into the first firework fountain. Use the DMX output on this Sparkular to loop the signal to the next fountain.

4. Now it’s time to fill the fountains. You fill the Sparkulars through the reservoir at the top of the device. Open the flap here and use the supplied funnel to pour the powder into the reservoir. Only use the supplied powder for this. Note: the powder must be poured into the flap and NOT into the white circle.

5. To put the firework fountains into use, they will need to warm up. You do this by sliding the second slider on the 6-channel DMX controller all the way up. It takes about 10 minutes for the fountains to reach the right temperature. So make sure you do this well before the show starts. Leave this up until you’re done using the Sparkulars.

6. To start the fire fountain, slide the first slider up. Sparks will now come out of the machine. The higher you set the slider, the higher the sparks will go. To prevent the equipment from overheating, we recommend not creating a fire fountain continuously for more than 30 seconds.
