Description
With this Samsung video wall, you bring home a screen with a diagonal of no less than 350 cm. This makes the screen larger than an average projector screen and can be considered a potential replacement. Using a video wall offers many advantages over projection. You don’t have to deal with annoying reflections from sunlight shining in. What about visibility? Just like with a normal TV screen, it’s always visible regardless of the amount of light in the room or at a trade show.
What does the video wall consist of?
This video wall consists of 9 screens in total. Three are placed in width and three in height. The aspect ratio remains unaffected, so the ‘normal’ ratio (16:9) is sufficient to completely fill the image. The video wall is not made of normal TV screens. These screens have a very thin edge of only 5.9mm, so this seam – also called bezel – is not a disturbing factor when watching the video or image. Each screen receives the complete video signal. Depending on the settings, the screen shows part of the complete content, creating a large image.
What mounting options are possible?
Mounting a video wall requires specific knowledge regarding the installation of components and their connection. We therefore always recommend having the assembly and disassembly carried out by us. The screen can be mounted both hanging and standing. For events in a hotel or conference center, standing mounting is often the only solution. It’s often not appreciated to screw the video wall to a wall. In this case, the screen is placed on a stand so that it is clearly visible to all visitors.
At a trade show, hanging mounting is often desired. With custom wooden exhibition walls, it’s not difficult to mount the video wall on them. It is advisable to ensure that this wall is sturdy enough to support the weight of this large screen.
How can I control the screen?
Displaying content on the video wall is quite simple. You need to connect a laptop or PC with an HDMI connection to the wall. This can of course be done with your own laptop or computer, but we don’t recommend it. Our laptops are equipped with special software, which allows the video wall to automatically restart when turned on after a power outage. This means you don’t have to worry about the video wall at all.
